9mm reloads for a carbine

From the top of page 22 in the manual it says "The RUGER® PC CARBINE™, chambered in 9mm Luger, is designed to properly function with only factory loaded 9mm Luger (Parabellum) standard,
high velocity, or +P ammunition, manufactured to U.S. industry standards."

Given that from Ruger I would think you could go ahead and load up some +P rounds to use in it.

If it were mine I would fire some of your regularly loaded pistol rounds through the chronograph and see how much, if any, of a velocity gain you get in the longer barrel. I have a 40 caliber Sub-2000 and was amazed at how much faster my plinker loads were running in the carbine than in the Glock 35.

For crying out loud….even after looking at the manual, I didn't even think to research +P reloading data.

    I'll do that now. Thanks!

Well, I bought a pack of 9mm +P to shoot today. Clear difference between those and regular 9mm rounds.

All told, I think I'll stick with normal 9mm reloads. The +P is fun but not what I want to shoot every day with the carbine.

Did you run them through a chrono?
