Ol' Dwight is gonna be in concert in Spokane July 19th and I can't go due to prior engagement. Anyone want to go and record it for me? Preferably you will have good recording equipment that is capable of giving me the in-person experience.

Not a half-bad actor either. Played the evil step-dad real well in Sling Blade.

Saw him about 20 years ago. He was about an hour late and appeared to be intoxicated, but put on a good show.
We probably won't make it to that particular event.

Dwight is from a small town not far from me. Pikeville Kentucky you can't t get there from here. It is about as far back as you can get. Patty Lovelace and Loretta Lynn (Butcher Holler) from the same area.

I like his music. Like Marty Stewart , he has charted his own path .

I once won tickets from a local radio station in 1998, he was my 1st concert. Pete Anderson was the lead guitar player at the time. Ever since him and Pete split, his music went down hill for me. I love his old stuff with Pete Anderson.
