I picked up my tax return from our account about three weeks ago but waited until today to write the check.. The ink is a bit smudged from all my tears…

No entity can process a check faster.
I swear they can do it while it is on the way there in the mail.

I feel that pain most years. We pay quarterlies that run five digits, and STILL write five-digit checks at filing time most years.
Remarkably, got refunds last year (bidenomics) and the pain was a lot less this year. The bad news of that is that we made a helluva lot less to owe on.

what helps me thru it (sarcastic )
is knowing my tax dollars are funding illegals by the hundreds of thousands of dollars to live better than I do
and billions going to Ukraine to be filtered back as donations and so many other country's get a huge chunk but who love to spit on our flag

Just had my taxes done on Tuesday this week. Accountant told me that there was no need to even file anymore due to the slight refund wasn't even enough to pay for the tax preparation! 😲
So! Unless I hit it big with the lottery or something, I'm now finally a FREE man!
