Surprise, surprise. Woke up this morning and ground covered in over 1" in wet snow. Forsythia in full bloom all bent over. I suppose snow will kill the blooms? Monroe, NY around 7:30 AM—-Ray

We have a little more here. Just glad we are not 50 miles north of me. They are getting 18-24” of heavy wet snow. Just checked local gun forum and many are without power all ready.

We get the other end of that teeter-totter. Gonna hit 70 degrees here today with strong SW winds.
Tomorrow, of course, another storm is coming.

Looks like a Christmas morning around here. All the tree branches are aglow in white. Snow coming down in big flakes.
Some of the worst snow storms in memory have been in April. Always very heavy, very wet snow!

Picture looking towards my daughters barn in Delaware County, NY this AM. Six acres. They have had enough of the snow and cold. Deeded my place in Kents Store, Va. to her.
Grandson and his girlfriend will get apartment up there. Cleaned out my kitchen and stacked it all in living room for grandson. My first step to transition to Virginia from this Socialist/Communist state. I have life time living rights on the three acres and house in Va. A little small for three of us, three dogs and two horses. Hoping to buy a couple of acres from one of my two neighbors down there.
Hope I don't kick off before I make it back to Ole Virginia ————————Ray

Jim, on this side of the mountains it was 43 at 6am today & 55 now with a light overcast. A big difference.

Well they fixed that TINY issue by changing the name a 2nd time, global climate change. Now they were right when they claimed global cooling was gonna freeze us all AND when they said global warming was goona kill us off. See, they are very smart, like confucius (sure miss green font).

Spring cold fronts are almost always preceded by warm, dry winds from the southwest. Large temp swings are the result. In the Plains and South, that also means tornadoes.
