Predator Movie Guns Rabbit Hole

I walked around for a good while thinking it was just a prop. But seeing as how one's phone these days is as good as a library - I get the 411 on the M26 MASS and as pictured above, some version of its predecessor, Knights Armament Masterkey system which sure doesn't look like more than the front of an 870 12 ga pinned underneath an M4 carbine. Anybody ever actually handle or operate one of these things, and if so - did they do so effectively?

  It is obvious enough that it probably doesn't need to be mentioned - but if anyone was not aware - Jesse Ventura's handheld, backpack mini-vulcan was a total prop. What I didn't know is that it was used in other films after Predator.

  I remember watching the movie new in the theater, and thinking even Jesse "The Body" Ventura would not be able to hump the heavy power source much less the ammo required to make that Mini Gun work.

  Didn't matter because it was darn cool.

  Hollywierd always got away with alot of "poetic license" in terms of firearms on screen.
