Hertz and EV
The CEO of Hertz has resigned. The problem is EVs. A few years ago they ordered 100,000 but only about 60,000 were delivered. At the present time they have about 20,000 for sale but there don't seem to be buyers. They want to sell these things because maintenance and repair is killing them. They want to get rid of all of them. Good luck.

Too bad we couldn't do that with the incandescent light bulb. Now I'm stuck trying unconventional styles of bulbs for the bathroom.

My brother has been a service manager with Nissan for 40 years. Last week he told me about a woman complaining about her EV only getting 50 miles to a charge. It called for a new battery that would cost $13,000 and $1,000 in labor to change. The car was a 10 year old Nissan leaf, which is a small compact car. My brother said she went ballistic.
