The saddest song you love
We all have one: that song that just gets inside your heart and breaks it at the same time it uplifts you.
For me, it's "Where Rainbows Never Die" from The Steeldrivers, Chris Stapleton's old bluegrass band.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nGyX7oT89YY This is the song I always wanted to sing to my older sister... She's 13 years older and she forgot about us. Like Scrooge money and being something was more important. Oh well đ

There are several sad songs that I like but the first one that came to mind for me was "Alone Again, Naturally" by Gilbert O Sullivan.
Then, while I was typing this.....ole Roy Orbison started singing his hit song "Crying" in my head!!
I have more to add, but I need to run for a hanky to dry up my sweaty eyes.

James Taylorâs song Fire and Rain.
It does bring a tear to my eye anymore when I hear it, because I always did think I would see her one more time again. I loved her very much, and she will always live in my heart.

I have a couple.
The first would be 'Edelweiss' by the Von Trapp Family Singers.
Second would be 'Heart of Mine' by the Oak Ridge Boys.
Of course one cannot never forget the tragic ending to 'Two Out of Three Ain't Bad' by Meatloaf.
