When I was a kid........I ate plenty of Banquets (I think) chicken pot pies. Pretty good....in those days......as were Swanson TV Dinners.
They don't make'em anything like they use to. ☹

Loved pot pies as a youngster. Us kids would have a contest to see who could flip it upside down and eat the pie while leaving a perfectly intact top crust to savor as dessert. My big sis always won…maybe she cheated?

It has been a very long time since I have eaten one of those Banquet pot pies, but I do remember something that turned me off about them. I'm not sure if they are made the same way now days but for a while I noticed that the crust went missing on the bottom of the pies! Just a top crust, so when you tipped it over onto your plate........you had a very disappointing soupy mess!

My fifth grade math teacher was a real nerd. One day he told the class a joke.
He said that little Timmy was at the supper table with his family. He said to his father "I learned something in math class today. Pi R squared."
His father replied "Any Tom Fool knows that pies are round."
That was a real knee slapper for my math teacher, class stopped for five minutes while Mr. Hammett chuckled.
