Tiny little Rainbow Titanium Sig....Its going to be a fun auction to watch!
This is an odd little gun.....a very rare one, which makes it worth a crazy amount of money to the collectors. Its going to be an interestiing auction for sure. The rainbow finish is VERY bright, the pictures do not do it justice.

The auction said the following:
"This was stopped and relisted to restart tonight, we apologize for the confusion.
"I did not realize this had a protective film coating the finish, we removed it and re-did the pictures for the auction.
"You can plainly see this is a SPOTLESS treasure!"
They list this as NEW but if they removed the protective coating did they destroy the "NEW" value?
Although if it was a removable plastic protective film adhering to the firearm that might be different.
Just wondering,
David

The plastic made it look "handled" and worn.....so I'm certain the buyers want to be sure this is a spotless gun, more than they want the plastic film on it

looks like one version of nitre blue that i do
can get beautiful looks, but not a protective finish like normal blue and is prone to rust if a protective finish is not placed over it or regular oiling
on another forum i once posted a pic of a 9mm with a gold color finish and was over loaded with questions about the cost of the "gold plating", even though i clearly stated it was a form of blueing
