    Oake use to post photos of such yard art he made out of just discarded junk and had some neat items

    I'm not artsy at all, but have made several crosses from horse shoes for a few people. I tried to find a picture of one, but I guess I never took a pic of one.

    I found a pic, my wife had saved one

    An old time blacksmith thought me how to make a split cross from one solid piece of bar stock. I forgot how many I made over the years but enjoyed the forging, especially if a client was watching and the grin on their face when I opened the two legs to make it into a cross.

    I did not make the one pictured.
