    They can move fast. My dog took out after one, once. The fox looked like he was just trotting. Dog never closed ground.

    I've had some fast all around squirrel and coon dogs that could make a fox's feet move fast. Seen them a few times where the dogs would make it so hot on a fox that the fox would be in a tree several feet off the ground.

    Some people could not believe that a fox would be up in a tree, when they get scared being chased they can run up a tree.

    Yotes will make it rough on Foxes also.

    Grey Foxes have sharp, retractable claws like a cat and can easily climb vertically, it's the only fox that has that type of claw.
