Strange weather happenings indeed. Close calls, glad you're OK and made it through it all. Take another run by a pharm and get some meds. Just dont go around lunch time.

Yeah, I'll take another run to town tomorrow. How was I supposed to know they went to lunch at 2 o'clock and all 3 places at the same time? I guess they are probably busy earlier with customers stopping in during their own lunch breaks but I never have considered that before. Live and learn. Bob

I had a CVS close for lunch right in the middle of a transaction. That was fun! Couldn't wait 30 seconds to go to lunch so made me wait 30 minutes.

Well, I still have a Rexall Pharmacy. Tom is there 9 to 6 Monday thru Friday on Saturday he closes at 4:45 so he can make it to Mass. If your Mother accidentally takes her heart medicine twice he's in the phone book and happy you called. As far as a lunch break he eats at his desk and his Border Collie Lucy is always looking for treats.

What about mail order BobJudy? I'm with Centerwell and am happy. 3 month supply and with my insurance most are just $15.00.

I'll have to look into that. I hadn't considered it because of the restrictions on pseudoephedrine. I have to show my I.D. and they have to check the computer to make sure I haven't bought more than allowed. I guess it is one of the ingredients for making meth and they want to make sure I'm not cooking up illegal drugs in my spare time. Bob

Have you ever tried sinus rinses for helping with your allergies? I've been doing them since 2008 and it helps me a bunch.

My mom uses it every day and when I feel a sinus headache coming on I use it 3 times in a row and it clears up.

I use to always have to have Sudafed on hand...

I've had one of the Neti pots for a few years and it works when I am plugged up but doesn't do much to stop a runny nose like I've had the last week or so. The Doc told me not to rinse more than twice a day for fear of damaging the sinuses, I guess it is an example of to much of a good thing. A couple years ago he recommended the pseudoephedrine, Claritan D, and it has done a pretty good job. It was my fault that I ran short because winter for me is not usually an allergy period.

Yesterday was the first high school skeet team practice for the year and we were enjoying the 70+ degree weather. Last year at this same time I was shoveling off the skeet stations before practice started. I guess I can put up with taking the nose pills if it means I don't have to shovel!๐Ÿ˜ Bob
