    I assume that you had the battery disconnected while doing all that work. That should reset the computer. IMO

    mike55's got it. Disconnecting the battery (especially front end work) on any newer car should be step #1.

    I've never replaced an airbags, but I suspect there'd be 2 wires 12v+ and 12v- to fire the charge that deploys the bag. If that be, the ECM shouldn't care. Definitely disconnect battery negative beforehand.

    A lot of cars need the airbag module reset with a scanner and some need em removed and sent into a shop that can reset em. I don't work on many American cars so I can't tell you the specifics but since you had airbags pop I'm gonna guess it will take more than disconnecting the battery.

    my scan tool was able to reset the airbag code.
