Saturday Morning out to set out Flags at the Cemetery for Veterans. 8-10AM

Then off to Brewery for a fund raiser f or a local Veterans organization. 10-2 My VFW Post time slot

Already have Two Flags Flying, at the home place. a 25"pole 3x5 at the shop and a 40"pole 3x5 at home ( I'll change that to a 5x8). Then set some smaller ones out along the fence line.

Sunday off Early to the Family Grave Yards and Back in time to watch the INDY 500.

Afternoon Cookout (and watch the race) at MIL place (no beer). Always said the KY Derby was a one beer race and the 500 was a six pack or two. I always get in trouble with that here in Ky, but I'm From Indiana.

Monday Downtown Cemetery Ceremony for Veterans.

Dad, Uncles, Nephew, BIL, and Wife and Myself have all served.

One never made it. Rest in Peace Cousin Jimmy

When I was a kid in the Boy Scouts we put flags on all the graves of the veterans at the local cemetery. I always looked forward to it.

We are thinking about putting my Grampa's casket flag back up on the side of the house and putting flowers (red white and blue of course) on Fernbridge if we can get them made up. One year I got two beautiful buckets with flowers and flags in the middle… we will see.
