Ethnic Holidays
If one wants to retain their 'ethnicity', why didn't they just stay where they were?

That's been my question for years.

I mostly agree but will make an exception for the Irish. 😁

I have no problem with any holiday or celebration that has meaning or comes from a legitimate culture (St. Patricks, Chinese New Year, Easter, Hanukkah, etc). The politically manufactured ones are to be disregarded, though.

I dont have a problem with ethnic holidays as well.
I DO have a problem with politically correct, woke DEMOCRATs and their efforts to destroy holidays that have defined us as a nation and brought up together: IE: Easter, Christmas, Thanksgiving, Columbus Day, and even Independence day.

Being an Irish Catholic I find that a stupid question.

I fully support ethnic holidays so long as the celebrants are fully assimilated and honor the culture in which they live.

We got Martin Luther King day because some politicians wanted to suck up to black voters. Same reason we got Black History Month. Gee, when is White History Month? Or a much deserved Native American History Month.

We ran out of months.

I did my part for Cinco De Mayo.

Others can celebrate whatever they want but don't try to force me to acknowledge or participate.

We ran out of months.
That in itself is scary because DEMOCRAT Joe Biden will replace a traditional month Americans have long celebrated & replace it with &*woke^% subject month to appease his Marxist base.
