Dielectric Grease Question
My use my ATV to pull around my sprayer and other 12V powered devices. I have a typical 2 prong flat inline connector coming from the ATV battery. Over time, say a winter months, the connector terminals on the ATV and sprayer corrode. I've been advised to use dielectric grease on them. Is this reasonable or what you you folks suggest? Thanks guys,

Very good idea. Coat it good, then even more after you unplug it for extended periods of time. The spades will still make connection, assuming the arent already worn and loose fitting.
Make sure it is tight fitting first! A loose connection can cause corrosion too!

Yep, good advice from Mike. Here in the rainy PNW I use that stuff on just about every automotive electrical connection. I also hose down trailer plugs with spray battery terminal protector.

I use Dielectric grease on my UTV battery terminals because of the location of the battery if you run thru water and mud at a fast pace it will throw mud/water onto the terminals. Not had any problems since I started using Dielectric.

Clean it good first, an electronics cleaner(LPS contact cleaner is awesome) in a spray can for connectors, acid remover/sealer for battery terminals. Then you will be good to go!
