Do your dogs destroy tennis balls?? Great ball tip from my neighbor!
My Border Collies don't usually tear up their tennis balls. It happens, but not very often.
My next door neighbor has four dogs, all bigger than my Borders and way rougher in their playing.
A tennis ball doesn't last 20 minutes. So she has switched to lacrosse balls. End of problem. Not even her Pit Bull can tear up a lacrosse ball!!😂 These lacrosse balls are really hard. I think one of her male German Shepards has the "hots" for my pretty girls. He is always giving a lacrosse ball through the fence to one of my girls. They, of course, bring the ball to me. I put the ball up until I have collected 8 or 10 balls. Than I put the balls in a Wal-Mart bag and hang it on her gate. I get to repeat the process every month or so.
So if your dogs tear up their balls, just buy some lacrosse balls. They seem indestructible.

Lacrosse balls are excellent dog toys! Indestructible and cheap. Plus, they bounce like crazy which makes for even more fun, it seems.

Had a neighbor who lost their dog by choking on a tennis ball a few years ago. At that time, I took tennis balls off my dogs play list.

Will they fit in the "Chuckit" thrower? My shoulders are shot and a first grader could out throw me by hand.

I also have a chuckit.... Kong tennis balls also do a great job. Lad is a tennis ball ruiner.

They might fit but they weigh so much more than a tennis ball, I don't think the chuck-it would last very long.

Mine generally limit their destructive powers to raccoons and possums(maybe a slow cat now and then😃).
