No, we were in an area of the basement that does not have any windows. We do have a walk-out door with 2 big panes of glass, but I wasn't going to stand in front of the glass to watch for anything either.

Last Saturday.......we had one pass about 40 miles north of us......

Around here that's a long way off.

Back in 1975........we didn't name our racquetball tournament....The Tornado Alley Racquetball Classic............for nothin'!!šŸ˜‰šŸ˜Ž

…unfortunately Tornados are just a part of life here, but only in the Spring/Summer/Fall & WinteršŸ˜Žā€¦and the big ones, starting with an EF2, are amazingly powerful, winds 200+mph for EF-5…being an Insurance Adjuster for 20+ years, I adjusted loses for some scary BIG storms…I have seen multi-story brick buildings completely collapsed, just an unrecognizable pile of rubble… homes where only the foundations were left, wiped clean, no sign of a brick or board, furniture, appliances, nothing, looked like a foundation ready for a new build except for a few pipes sticking up here and there…I've seen entire city blocks leveled, just empty foundations and some debris…Ive watched quite a few form and move across the sky but they kept going, a lot of times touching down somewhere down the road…been thru 2-3 and it can get scary at times…
