It's May in Montana, Joe. It may snow, it may be sunny, it may be 70 degrees, or it may be 20.

The peony's, iris's, roses and amaryllis are all putting on a great show. To many other flowers in my wife's 50+ pots to mention. That plus I don't know the names of many of her pot flowers.

I have one Bell pepper large enough to pick and many nickel sized tomatoes on eight plants, so far. More to come when I plant another bunch around June 15th.

Four different types of basil are up and almost an inch high. The Dill has just came up, the Yellow summer squash is up, maybe two inches high, taters are starting to flower, got sunflowers from two inches tall to four feet tall.

    I'm guessing I'm missing a few things.

What is this snow you are talking about?? It is in the eighties here in S.C.😁

In Ct this morning our popular weather guy said maybe a couple showers, in the morning and rain and possible thunderstorms later in the day with a, not 0 ,chance of tornados. It poured like crazy around 8am and is sunny and warm the rest of the day

Sounds then like, May in Montana must be like are March in the Midwest. In like a lamb, out like a lion, and sometimes in like a lion and out like a lamb.

So no winter this year? Looking forward to shorts in December.

We got it here in eastern Montana also, except with two days of gale force winds.

My wife was unhappy because all of her tomatoes and basil froze. The only thing that survived was the rhubarb. Can't seem to kill that stuff.

If I could just go a bit without a tornado warning I'd appreciate it.
