Surgery tomorrow

I'm having a hernia repair tomorrow morning at the VA hospital in Temple.😐️ I would appreciate any prayers for it to go well.

    Everything is going to go fine. They have this procedure perfected anymore. I understand your apprehension the night before though, everyone is that way. Next week this time you will thinking more about what to put on the grill. lol

    You'll find that the repair is much, much better than keeping the hernia! Prayers sent.

    Two friends had that surgery in the last few years and both are quite happy with the results. They tell me that the worst part was worrying about it before the actual surgery. walthemoe has it right. Having said this, you probably will need to suspend your competitive weight lifting program for a few weeks.

    Take it easy in recovery. Follow instructions to the letter and above all ....take the pain pills. Prayers for a good outcome .

    Keep a pillow on hand to press against incision should you need to cough. DO NOT watch any funny videos, TV shows or movies. Laughing is not your friend during recovery. Neither is sneezing or coughing.

    Thanks for all your prayers and well wishes. The surgery went great and I'm not hurting too bad. It's certainly sore but not like the hip replacement....lol.

    I hope to be back to normal soon.

    Thankful for the central Texas VA for sure.
