Interesting alternative to gunpowder powered lead chunkers. Are they classed as firearms per the government? Would like to try one .

I use a pcp Diana pellet gun for mice and rat hunting. Much, much better (IMO) than CO2 pellet guns. The only caveat is that it's almost a necessity buying a high pressure air pump to fill the cylinder. A garage type air compressor will not work.

I see that shotgun has a reservoir rated for 3500 psi, so it should have plenty of oomph.

Air would not be a problem for me

Fire dept I am on has a breathing air /scba/scuba compressor . Will do north of 5000psi.

Very interesting, I never heard of such a thing. No way this is classified by the government as a firearm. Unless you are in New Jersey.

Seriously, get caught with the air shotgun in New Jersey without a permit and you will go to, prison.

by the ATFs own definition, it isn’t a firearm as it doesn’t use an explosive to propel a projectile.

The Seneca shotgun looks like fun but I don’t know where I’d use it.
