Monroe, NY. Just checked gauge on deck in the shade and it is 102 degrees. Must be hotter out in back yard in sun. I suppose it is a record for this day.
How is the temp. you folks in Virginia? Trying to get ready for a return trip to Kent's Store. Hernia still popping out now and then. I suppose the next trip will kill me in this heat.
I have one possible person to help me haul away piles of grass that I have created. That s only about 30 percent of what my neighbor bush hogged. Kinda wish i had held off on the bush hogging until I had a fixed plan.
Locals in Kent's Store starting to think I am going to sell my place. Getting e-mails about property. No way. I just want to get out of this Communist State.

Wow again. 75 Degrees today, windy and no humidity. 20 degree drop from yesterday. What a relief.

Was 101 on the drive north to Boulder (🤮) yesterday. Today it's just as hot but 1000x more tolerable because I don't haver to go to Boulder.
