How close to zero are you aiming for?
Since I have no kids and I don't plan to leave anything to friends other than memories. Actually I may give them first offering at "friend" prices on bits like guns but not my porn. I plan to take that with me. I kid. No I'm not.
Anyways. None of them fish so I need to re-home those bits. I'd put them on flea bay but shipping rods are a pain. I wonder if there's a thing like FishBroker.Com? Then the books. No one reads books and most don't want to make room for them. I reckon that'll go double for DVDs even though I know not all movies/tv shows are streaming. I wonder who would want my kitchen gear? Sabatier high carbon chef's knives, Cast Iron or the Mason Jars for drinking. Oh that reminds me the big glass steins.
Oh and the fish tanks and the fish breeding project. Maybe the complex will burn and I'll just get the pay out to make my life simple?

After you die, you will not care or need any of it
So unless your loking to sel of and use the money for something else
Let the family / next of kin ? or the state mostly like to take it over when your depart

I'm only taking a pair of Vic Firth HD4 drumsticks and my Tama piccolo snare with me. The rest of these worldly possessions are to be sold or given away. As for what's leftover financially, that's to be split 50-50 between my daughter and my wife. I have all that written in my will.

Yoshmyster, keep your fishing rods and move to Montana or Idaho.
As for DVDs, if the SHTF, then there will be no streaming, so dvds will be useful. Of course, you might need back up power to run your dvd player.

Wifey and I like giving to the less fortunate and especially to our children and grandchildren.. We enjoy helping our children and grandchildren, they are going to get it all anyway might as well give them some of it now instead of making them wait until we are gone.

Montana would be too cold. I'm getting cold in my old age. Like a snake that needs to warm up before doing anything. If anything I need to move South.

Both sons will be here for the 4th of July this year. There will be a little more discussion on who wants what. I told both it is time to invest in a bigger safe. I would like to move some things on to them now, while I am around to watch them enjoy the items….
