I noticed that too….. The other morning, I was out for breakfast and ordered eggs, bacon and toast… The waitress said perfect ! I was not sure if she meant what I ordered or me ……🙃

I think it is more like Porrfect when they Curly says it

Like and Ya' know are just filler words to avoid a pause in speaking, like, ya' know?

"No problem" seems to have replaced "you're welcome" also.

Like Kacey I say "no worries" all the time, I picked it up from my European students years ago and prefer it to the "no problem" but each to their own, I guess…. the one that I dislike is the "ya Know".

A pause in speaking is my natural state - this is the only venue where I can express an opinion.

So long as she doesn't say, "Fine" or "What ever you think is best."

" You know what I'm sayin'"

That and just sayin'. Two of the worst.

    Whatever.

Worst comeback ever. Spouse says it look out.

Bla bla bla and yada, yada, yada are bad to.

It doesn't matter what I say, along as long as i say it with inflection.

I cringe when I hear idiots say……"do you feel me?"

    Pretty sure that's the worst

While we are on the subject….. I really get tired of waitresses, sales girls calling me honey or sweetie…. I find it demeaning..

then just call em deer, or youngun……… I don't care what they call me as long as they bring the food fast and it tastes good.

A mature woman at a local fast food place that does that. I just respond, "thank you Darlin." It takes her 2 seconds, but then she giggles. I wouldn't do that with a regular waitress.

I had a dentist last week correct the shoddy work done by his new hire dentist. Now I don't know if was trying to sell me that he was doing a good work or giving himself a self affirmation by constantly saying "perfect". All I know is food don't get in between the teeth.
