Meet Shadow
A couple of years ago I rescued a stray kitten I found near the gravel road that runs in front of my house. I named him Max. Today, Max met Shadow.
Today I took a stroll to the mailbox and heard a kitten crying. Again, I have rescued a kitten found near the gravel road.

Time to pave the gravel road? Say are you covered in band aides? Ferrell cats around that age are all claws and teeth. So I'm thinking you cat napped someone's house cat?

Agree with Neo, I have that same problem where I live. Ironically, I live within a mile of a shelter that takes unwanted pets free & without questions.

I rather not discuss how many cats we have been blessed with
Several mom cats showed up a couple yrs ago and I will gusss dropped off all the same time frame with in a few weeks both pregnant and one feral cat last year
we Have had them all fixed but oh my the food bill
I should start a go fund me to cover the cost LOL

He was happy to see me, so no scratches or tears in my skin. He was skin and bones, had some fleas and a scrape on his mouth. I'm thinking he is of weaning age and was dumped. We don't have a shelter in our area and for some it's common practice to just dump animals.

We live in a college neighborhood, too many cats are left to fend for themselves at the end of the school year.

Shadow is a good name for that color kitten. Of course, Shiggles is still the winner.

People dump cats on our road from time to time…. Usually others in the area will take them in. The neighbors around us have them living in their barns or outbuildings. They feed them and let them earn their keep taking care of mice.
Good on you Susie !!! Shadow is a lucky cat…so is Max

Nice little cat. People who dump animals should be treated much more harshly than what Neo suggested.
