Browning Dura-Touch warranty repair

Looking to pick up a Browning BPS in any camo pattern as my turkey gun. I am a Browning guy and since the BPS is no longer made, I need one. Is the issue with the Dura-Touch only on the stock? No issue with receiver or barrel?

  In my local shop ,yes it was the stock only and they were a mess. Have heard zero affecting the metal. ymmv
