Goose question
Just saw the adults swim by with 25 young ones between them!! Never have I seen so many?

just think if you were crosseyed there would have been 50……..

I saw a whitetail doe with 4 fawns. My wife said the doe must be baby sitting.

That's not a question, but geese often foster orphaned goslings. That is an unusually large clutch.

Social critters often babysit for, lack of a better word, each other.

We have them all over the French Broad River here. Dozens of big baby geese swimming around.

Where I use to work they had several ponds in front and behind the plant for landscaping and I am sure a supply of water if neded
Any way the geese would set up camp every year have their young and then start chasing cars and people amazing how many were afraid of a vose getting them
The Company use to block off sections of the parking lot to help avoid the conflicts with the birds and people later on a started using deturets to keèp geese scared off
Oh and lots and lots of goose poop

wr have one goose left in the mix of birds my wife has its a male, and fun part seversl years it budied up with our last turkey a female
They Hang together around the place
