That was just rude and out of line. It can't be undone, but you should talk to your neighbor about this and let them know you are upset. They may not want the service of this jerk anymore. Sorry that happened.

Rant rating: 2 out of 5. Do better. 😁

Joe has it right. Let them know their laborer has an attitude and further employment will result in decreased jam deliveries.

I did better in person lol

The owner doesn't care.... He's an old dope growing hippie that didn't care if his daughter kept us up at night more then 20 years ago...

    Thank you

We have a Santa Rosa plum tree next to our fence on the east side. Due to our crazy weather this spring I think I have 3 crabapples and the plums barely made it, I was going to have enough for hopefully a couple of batches of jam and had a ladder to each the plums on the other side. I even went to introduce myself to the neighbors that I had only ever really waved to but never met formally. They were delighted over that I would come over and get the plums and was making jam... Today, the man who does the yard work for the owner was butchering the whole side of the tree with a pole saw, and he said to keep our #### off the fence (the fence belongs to us) anyway I salvaged some... I am so upset.

I wouldn’t want anyone working for me to behave that way.

On a good note, from all we salvaged and a few more added that I found ripe by our house I just finished 8 half pints and 2 4 oz. jars. Pictures to follow. ❤️😁

That is a sad situation for sure Ray……

Bad neighbors are a plague, good ones a blessing for sure…

We had the prettiest crabapple tree growing up on the corner of our yard. It was covered with bright pink blumes every year. One day the neighbor cut it down without any warning. My dad was sooooo mad. We moved out to the country eventually. I liked being in a neighborhood with kids to play with when I was younger….but as we all got older it was not fun at all.
