There are dedicated sub forums built into the overall forum. If a topic is specific enough to fall under a sub forum category, then that's where it should be posted.

Coincidentally I posted a reminder of this on July 5th, and ran it back to the top twice. If it's political it goes under politics forum.

For quick access to hot topics, there is a Recent Discussion link in the header at the top of the page. This will bring up all recent topics regardless of sub category.

If someone doesn't want to post or participate in sub forums that is thier choice. However, policy and design of the forums will be enforced, especially after reminder was given. Thank you

Political post are prone to be controversial, cause arguing, and attract trolls.

Mods are volunteers. A while back a recruitment was done to add a couple Mods. The only ones to step up are the ones on staff today to join the ones that stepped up before them. Mods are not scheduled, their time here varies as does yours. Mods may not get to read every thread or every post. That's why there are several Mods and they have authority in all forums -vs- just one or two Mods per forum as in old forum. Having (especially) political post grouped together in its dedicated forum, makes for much easier Moderation.
