I set one day a week as my "NOPE" day.....today or tomorrow, haven't decided yet
I swear….you need a day or two every once in a while.
I'm getting less patient and very unreasonably short with people today…..so I think my downtime day has arrived!

Sat on the couch for a couple hours watching TV…..eventually got up and started roaming around the house.
Next thing you know I'm rearanging a storage closet. I've done dishes….started the laundry and stripped the beds. I wish I could just "shut down" 100% for a couple days. I'm certain there is a name for whatever fidgety nonsense I have.
I almost want to go mow grass….just to get outside for a minute, but its too blasting hot.

Also i find That's interesting. After retiring, I try and set one day aside to get work done but fail most weeks at that

This why I d t do staycation’s. I cannot shut down when you own your own business so much get neglected at home, when I am home I see all the work that needs to be done and I get started.
We go away for at least two week long vacations a year. We pay for it before and after but it is good to have the time for us.
Seems to be working just celebrated 44 years on July 5th.
