38 years as a logger in the Northwest and I never saw hide, hair nor sound of "Bigfoot".

A really good "Deer Camp" film is Escanaba in da moonlight.

It's a comedy about Yoopers at deer camp.

As a teenager with my best friend at the time. We were at a Christian family camp in the Colorado mountains with his and my family. My friend's dad, brother, my friend and I went on a fairly long hike up to a mountain stream and lake to go trout fishing. My friend and I went our separate way from his brother and dad. We eventually found ourselves "a little lost". Panic set in and of course we started to think that we saw bears and bigfoot behind every tree. Our imagination was getting to us. We calmed down and re-orientated ourselves and all was well.

Anti Kue - I saw that Yooper movie on youtube (if it's the same one). I think it had Jeff Daniels and the Mr. Parker from the tv show "The Pretender" (gawd I miss Miss. Parker).

I may have to lok it up I don't remember even hearing about it t it

I did watch" Grey "several nights ago its a older movie where the wolf's take out every one

I'd you did not fear or respect wolf's aft we the move with change your mind

As for the VHS setup Way back when our kids were just little crumb snatchers mid 1980's or so

We bought a vhs camera not long after they gaind popularity it was about the size of a briefcase and of course the battery's could jump start a car as big as they were I am a bit guessing now but I seem to recall around just under 400.00

We have lots of old home vhs tapes, my oldest son , maybe ten + yrs ago transfered some into DVD format and to zip drives . funny to watch now. reminds me we should dust some off and have a few memories

Not while it was dark, but sitting in the national forest last year while deer hunting I kept hearing a cat meow. Sounded exactly like a normal housepet. I was I the middle of thousands of acres of public land.

Got back to camp and mentioned it to my brother. He said it was a bobcat that was probably stalking me. I'm 63, been hunting all my life and never realized bobcats meowed.

I was Just out on the front porch several of the same spiders as you posted photo

have set up shop and seem to be doing well lot of busnes

two of them have webs about five inches apart like a minor image of each other I had to disturb Noth as they used one of my wife's huming bird feeders as a anchor point i did not want to bit I had to take them down to clean the feeder

Ad in I don't fear them but they are still creepy maybe from old movies and wife's tales about them eating and killing us. LOL

Some time pick up gentle and Hold a jumping spider and share a lok a t each other they seem to be as curious about us as we were about them

Ditch-Runner - I remember "Gray" it was okay Liam movie in the "Taken" years. He was doing overwatch for pipe workers? The baby air plane booze bottle taped up Wolverine Style always makes me chuckle.

Oh if you're in the mood for survival in the "white" check out "Arctic" with Mads Mickleson.

VHS cam-corders were like $400? That's like what $1000 in todays money? That was pretty pricey.

Thanks I will lok up the movie

And yes back then even a vhs set up was crazy priced . But at the time we were in the got to have mode only dunb thing to do but we were young and dumb i gues

I remember o ly one small appliance mom and pop shop rented vhs .movies and sold the equipment they would have two maybe three copys of the latest movies but that's dragging out the story too much

Starting with the "pong " and space invader atari game set up we just had to have LOL

I wasted lot of nights with that stupit game I was a laid off construction worker it was winter at the time so didn't have to get up early

and one more big purchase fofbthe time frame a microwave oven, to help speed up the late night bottle warming for the kids so we could get back to sleep asap

it was just smaller than a compct car and weight as much LOL

it really stretched our budget beyond reality ro say the least but decided to get the camera to film the kids at the tine they wete just cat hing on but we wanted to have the memories and vacation videos for same reason

I Have a funy story about using ( well trying )the camera on Christmas eve for the kids but will post it later

You opened a flood gate of old memories for me

I retired 10 years ago so i watch a lot of movies and YouTube late night when I have trouble sleeping

Dude microwave from '80s. I got my pop's old Tappan microwave that's still "working". Yeah, I get the part about the size of a Honda CVCC and it weight.

A few years ago a (I forget the part) went out and I got that part from a mom and pop stove shop. Shocked me they had parts for it in store. I do think the rubber radiation fan drive o-ring needs replacing. It has hot spots. Way before they had a turn table feature. Oh and this thing has a "browner" feature that's supposed to brown meats? It looks like the link image without the third dial. Gawd I love this thing even if it's killing me with radiation.
