What kind of nimrod buys ammo from a vending machine that clearly tracks your identity?

    Reload. No faces involved.

give people as many options as possible.

If that thing was dishing out reloading supplies I would wait in line!

Those that wanna, let 'em. I'm good for now, likely the rest of my days. But I only shoot single shots and revolvers.😆

I have over 1000 rounds of every caliber firearm I own and well over 10000 rounds of .22. Probably more ammo than I will use in my lifetime

The Second Amendment is what it is: 100% legal. Gotta love with capitalism.

You can be certain DEMOCRATs wont like it.

I think it is more likely Republicans won't like the facial recognition.

Gotta wonder how easy it would be to just break in to it and take it all. Some vending machines just get hauled off to be emptied at leisure over beer and pizza. I could do that. Not that I in any way advocate lawlessness and stuff like that.

    Yep. All clear. :)

Not gonna buy ammo from an AI vending machine that learns my identity. AI systems do not always exist in a private bubble inaccessible by the outside. In order for an AI system to learn, it has to take input from thousands of sources. That means there's connectivity to thousands of sources. Information gets shared and there have already been too many cases already of companies helping the governments spy on Americans. AI makes it even easier for that 'sharing' to happen.

Count me out for anything AI related.

It wouldn't be long till someone who might be illegal to walk off with the vending machine. Just like they walk off with cash machines.

They don't need the vending machine to know what you have. You guys are telling them what you have right here. But, you do get another post count .

ATF= 3 vending machines, alcohol, tobacco, firearms.

Vending machine would not be practical for vending ammo, too heavy for one thing.

Those that be, already have more info on what we have than we realize. They all but know our every move.

One of my employees pulled up some sort of app that showed where he was exactly and would track every step he made.

Folks, AI is coming like it or not. Good friend of mine is a computer wizard and says it will never be able to be self aware. think the movie term, "ill be back".

Sorry for a bit of drift.

I watched a youtube video by colon nore ? I am sure I got that wrong sorry its late i will look it up later

he is a pro gun 2a and has a youtube channel semes like a great fellow

Any way There Is a company runing the vending machines and food chain stores where their located and yes already have them in operation

With Same as here mixed feelings like ok they know it all already who cares to just back door or tracking method

They did say the machines were doing well

they use face I'd you have to face a camera to run a check and make sure you match the drivers license you also provide to it it runs a back ground check if your allowed to purchase ammo and of course along with your cc

I stil say I wil pass

I don't even use "dumb" vending machines that take cc's. I learned my lesson with a dog tag vending machine in Walmart. In no time I had charges showing up from Vegas. Had never been there at that time.

Don't have a problem with vending machines, but have never and will never (unless absolutely necessary) submit to a facial ID scan.

Haven't seen a beer vending machine in years. I wonder if they still exist.

Only place I ever saw a beer vending machine was in the barracks in Germany late 70's… crappiest German beer there was, but it would do in a pinch…
