Safety or no safety
Do you prefer a pistol with or without a safety?

Carried a revolver for many years.
I really like my 1911s,condition 1.

Safety, yes

Safety….. I learned to shoot long before striker fired guns were the most common firearms. 1911's, S&W first generation semi-autos were what I was trained with, so I am more comfortable with a having a safety.
Although I do often carry a revolver or Glock….

Definitely a safety, or a de- cocker like on some Walthers.

Would that be the same type of question as hammer or striker. Which would you prefer. I believe both have there own strengths. There is good and bad for both. You have to justify what you need your firearm for.

Yes, it's exactly the same type question and to me at least, interesting to know/learn what others have to say regarding their preferences and what they know or have experienced with various firearms.
I have learned many things on this site over the years, some I had never thought of before (and a lot of it had nothing to do with firearms), mostly by asking questions and reading the responses to the questions that others have asked.

I like my guns with three safeties as designed by Gaston Glock.

The only place I don't carry is in the shower. Only Glock Perfection.

Main carry pieces both have safety although of late with the extreme hot weather , I am carrying my smith airweight more often. Generally prefer a safety
