I've been told by my VFW Post I can't attend any Political rally wearing my VFW hat or shirt.
Apparently Veterans are supposed to be Non Political.

Seems like a bit of overreach. I can understand active duty being careful, but frankly I served to defend individual rights. Is he asking you to not reveal the post with which you are affiliated?

As a veteran it think in is great to let folks know that I support My Candidate and as a VFW member too. No Post Numbers, just my personal shirt and Hat.

Testers time is up. He is now trying to tell the Republicans how many times he sides with us. Bull.
He started his campaign season with a commercial where he says,"its time to take back montana". Hegot called out on that real hard. " where'd it go john, it was your shift"??? He pulled that ad real quick.

Donnie T is holding an event in Aspen tonight. 25k gets me and the missus a seat at the big spenders table. What a shame I went and spent my surplus 25,000 dollars on colanders and ammo.

No, we didn't go. Lines were forming and parking lot filling up the night before the event. I couldn't make it a line like that. A friend went early and got a seat inside, directly in front of and about 50 feet back from the podium.

The VFW has a spotty record. If memory serves, it wasn't until after 2002 or 2003 that they recognized and accepted Vietnam vets.
As a veteran of the peace-time US Navy, I have no dog in this fight, but question the motivations of an organization that would do as you describe.

Both the VFW as well as the American Legion in the past have suggested voting for DEMOCRAT candidates. After that I quit & will NEVER join again. I know the pain. I served under Carter & Clinton.
