I am sure you meant red-dot, but if it has no markings , probably just a china cheapo, have you dismounted it and checked the bottom?

I would say a $20 dollar dot- not much added to rifle value- imo

Without a high end manufacturer name on it I too think lower end of quality, inexpensive. What level of magnification, one time, two,three??
I would put zero value on the red dot sight figured into cost of rifle. Good luck, let us know if you get it.

how do you know its trash, yes they are cheap but I have one on a 12ga and one on a 357 rifle, they both work fine, yes they aren't some high end $300+ scope but they work for me at a tenth of the price, I have one on a break down pellet rifle also, and it can knock the squirrels off my bird feeder after 3 years of service………

Any update? Did you buy the rifle, get to handle it to check out the red dot?

I haven't laid hands on it yet. I'm glad to know it isn't a very expensive sight.
