Not sure what happened I had it typed out. old age i will go with that
Any way I changed out the front half shafts on my wifes honda element
Laying on the floor on my back and on my knees doing the work
And having a bad lower back I knew what I was going to put up with after it was done.
Now Sitting with a heating pad on my back currently always help recovery
I will hope to continue to do all my own work untill I just can't, maybe when they throw dirt on me
but little pain vs the feeling of accomplishment and another day above ground out weight any day or thee of minor pain lol
One project done only 999 more to go

To me I guess the frustration of basic loosing my youth and stamina and strength age has taken but gained wisdom know how and a crap load of tools to make it easier LOL
However I am thankful for what I can still do, sadly way more people are less health than me,
I hope the best for them but we're still above ground and that's a win

Life doesn't have to be perfect To be wonderful . The good Lord above let ne wake up this morning and I am looking at the trees instead of the roots .Even with all my health challenges I am lightyears above some of my contemporaries . Just learned two friends are both facing liver cancer . One my age and the other 7 years younger .

I try not to show it,but after I sit awhile I have a hard time standing and I have noticed my old dog has the same problem.

Problem is that my "get up and go" has "got up and went."

It's catching up with all of us Dave. I just came in from the garage. My wife and I were going after the ^%(@## spider webs. My shirt is wringing wet and my neck and shoulders ache from looking at the ceiling going after the ceiling webs.

Life doesn't have to be perfect .....is a quote from Annette Funacelli. She said it when asked how she was dealing with life threatening complications of MS which ultimately killed her . I have thought often how much faith and belief it took to remain that optimistic.

That's pretty much what I have come to also
And take longer to do and more breaks while doing it fun of geting older I guess
Its Still frustrating for me some days.
but 100x better than the altertinive

At least getting older does beat the alternative.
