Where hurricanes go to die
At 10:25 this morning I took a screenshot of the radar for where I'm located. Just did another radar screenshot, 9 hours later.
10:25 this morning, I'm the black dot on the map.
A few minutes ago and here it still sits. We have rain in the forecast for the next few days.

Amazing how the things can produce so much rain for so long, over such a wide path. You’re not at risk of flooding on your place, are you?
I hope, at least, the storm will have drawn some heat/energy out of the Gulf and take us a little closer to cooler weather down South, and maybe a little less likely for a follow-on major storm.
