I'm done clipping my toe nails.
I was clipping my toe nails and I have either dull clippers or thick toe nails or both. Either case it got bloody. I'm gonna grind them from now on. Not quite Anthony Hopkins in "The World's Fastest Indian" with a angle grinder but I ain't gonna clip no more.

Neuropathy results in not knowing when you've gone too far until it bleeds. BTDT…..

You can go to one of those places in the mall and get a nice mani-pedi !!!!😮🙃

Been there done that! You can't use that dang grinder cuz it hurts like hell. You need to go to your toolbox and get one of these. Those teeny little clippers are meant for teenagers not people that's older than dirt with a million miles on your feet. 😉

yonson - Neuropathy, huh? Maybe but I had extra thickened skin, too. But it was mostly the crappy clipper.
William81 - I may have a satchel but I ain't gonna go get a "mani-pedi". Because I'm so very cheap. I did hear Bobby Singer once say a pedicure did change his life. But what he describe had bit of reflexology tossed in.
Smitty500mag - They got those dog toe nail grinder I saw on some grooming video I figured I'll get the grinder bits to put on my Dremel. Less bending, too so I don't have to stretch to reach the toe nails. Lawd if I had to do "yoga" before trimming my toe nails.

1st off Good to see you posting smitty 500 mag sure miss your input
Yosh Get you a set of channel lock side cutters their sharp as can be . my oldest son uses them at work and bought my 1st pair to help me cut old pole barn nails/ screws to help salvage materal off a building we had burn up
I bought a second set I liked them so much
We use one set to trim the dog toenails and one I have used to cut nails they are about $20.00 +/- can't beat them
JMHO are well worth it cutting your toenails should be no problem with them

Yosh, if you fall into one of several medical categories, insurance or Medicare will cover a doctor cutting them every 3 months.

Local TV had a news blip about a new 'service' for older folks. Footcare 'nurse' who travels the area doing this for mostly old (and/or obese) people who can't reach their toes or aren't physically capable of doing this for themselves.
I'm not sure just how 'dedicated' a person would have to be to decide they want to spend their life fondling geezer toes.😲

Just clipped mine 2 days ago. Getting harder to get my foot up on the vanity😉

Have someone come over to do my nails. I wonder if I can ask them to wear PVC onesies as I say "it rubs the lotion on the toes before you cut the nails. yeah, daddy like that". With my insurance I'll get a Thai lady boy.
