To bad about the hold up. Sometimes life happens.

We give the buyers two weeks to pay…..if we haven't gotten the payment we relist the item on that second week. We do the payment reminder at the start of the second week, if we hear from them we inform them that it will go back up for sale unless its taken care of by the deadline.

After doing this for as long as we have…..I've heard every story imaginable. The NPB almost always want to "pay the fees" and I'm very AGAINST letting that happen. If you drop the ball, your record should show it. If people keep letting them go on without any negative feedback they will do that over and over again.

Thanks for the insight. I will give it another week and see what happens. Sometimes things can get held up, but it was an auction not a buy it now. So they were active through the auction. One would think that if a buyer has over 1k positive feed back no neg. that would indicate a conscientious buyer. Its not even an expensive item. 60 bucks. I hate it when a small amount of money causes wasted time. I will post how this plays out. I did send a payment reminder and a note that said do you need anything more to finish this sale.

it’s possible your emails are going to his spam folder. Have you tried calling them?

It seems to me there is a limit to the lengths a seller must go to chase down an unresponsive bidder. At some point you mark him "deadbeat", uh, non paying bidder and move on with the relist. Do report him, there should be consequenses.
