Fasting Today
I've been scheduled for an Aortic Aneurysm ultrasound check up late this afternoon. Was told to fast and that includes no water for 6 hours prior to my 6:30 PM test.
Sure would be easier for me to have such a test early in the morning! Oh Well. Wish me luck.

No water, but beer is fine. Been there, done that. Hope there is nothing to find, but way better to know. I know, I get them yearly.

Hoping it all goes well, I got pre surgery tests on Thursday and procedure next Wednesday, hopefully will be released same day. Joel take care of yourself and hope the rest of the family are doing well.

Hope everything is okay. I had my scan earlier this year and found the Aneurysm to be at 4mm. Waiting for appt. with cardiologist.

I had one of those last week. They weren't really clear on the fasting. They just said 12 hrs. Nothing about water. But I only drank a little bit. The girl administering the ultra sound was pushing in my gut kinda hard. I was glad to get it done. Haven't heard the results yet.

Not sure if that is the same Aortic ultrasound I get every year, but fasting was not required. Good luck.

ItIt's not too hard for me to do 3 days without food any more. But water is a must havery over that time period.

I will not know the results for a few days, but I did learn that I am still ticklish. I got the gal doing the testing laughing so hard, she needed a break to compose herself.

My hospital hooked me up with all of my records online a few months ago and this morning I checked in and already got to read my ultrasound results! Everything normal and no need for further tests in the future! 😊

That is great news, but if it had been otherwise, you would know in time for a patch on the inner tube. Good thinking.
