Seed question

Every fall we find maybe a 3/8" diameter lite brown colored round "seed" all over our deck along with hundreds of acorns. Cutting it in half it looks like a lemon! Predominately Oak trees mixed with a few Shagbark Hickories and one Ash. Anyone know what these are? Thanks
