My baby turned 30 today.
Where does the time go?

and it seems like it only took weeks to get here ………………………………………….. where does the time go indeed.
My son turned 38 today ……………………. just wow.

The only reason I am old is because of my friends children. You see them as babies for the first time. Three weeks later you go to dinner and the kid is starting kindergarten. You run into them at the mall and the kid is starting mid-school in the fall. The next month you are getting a graduation announcement. Six months later they are graduating from college. In another three weeks you receive a wedding announcement.
If it weren't for my friends and their children, I would still be 27.

When we are young we feel like time has no meaning lots of it and we feel invincible
Then it seems we wake up one day and it's all gone
Time seems to speed up 20x as fast and evey thing that can go bad on our body has or will
But Still being above ground a few years older and a few aches is 1000x better that the alternative
As a kid I remember thinking that 40 was old and just about over the hill
and 60 was ancient . Anything beyond that was just amazing they made it that far

Must be the week….My Baby turned 37 yesterday !!! Even though I am getting older, I sure enjoy this time of life with my Sons being grown men. It is interesting to talk with them as adults and enjoy what is going on in their lives… I keep telling myself to enjoy my life where it is now and not spend too much time on yesterday..
Then there are the grandkids !!!!

I understand your feelings. My 25 year old son just had a baby few weeks ago. We are not speaking but my ex is keeping me informed. My step son turned 24 today. I am feeling very old too.😐️

Archery bear season ends Sunday. My 80 + year old bones will be out there lookin'. Rifle deer and bear starts on the 21st. Between Ma and me we may get lucky, last years is almost gone. She is younger, only 79 and a crack shot with her Model 70 featherweight in 7x57. We always take the 10-22 in the truck in case we see a fat grey squirrel.

4 grandkids , 11, 9 , 7 and 4 years old boy, girl, boy ,girl, by my oldest child our son, and our daughter got married last spring and will be having her first early March if every thing goes right , she is 27 and they had been together for a couple of years so they wanted to get started right away after they married

We visited our Spokane crew back in May. One our granddaughters drove us around Spokane for shopping. That made us feel old.

My mom always said you are only as old as you feel. When I had my first back surgery in 1995, and second in ~2001, I started joking with her "when you get my age" since I hurt constantly and feel/felt old. It is a joke that has persisted to this day.

Oldest grandson entered middle school this year. His dad is taking it harder than his granddad, but I do fear our bond will be strained by the pressures of the teen years.

My youngest turned 40 today...........yes..….on 9-11. Perhaps not so strangely.......he sort of wears the distinction as a badge of honor..….....in memorem.
That's my boy..…...…his own man.😉
