Just tell them you are a member of Congress and the SEC rules don't apply to you.😉

Just take him a list of the guns in your collection (No serial numbers, no initial purchase prices, and no current values, and maybe no specific quantities)

Alternatively my dad said you should just tell them to search the internet. It is probably out there anyway from where the information was leaked or hacked before.

I think that I would first consult an attorney and if that didn't yield a positive result, I'd go with option B and put them in your rear view mirror.

I can't speak for everyone but for me, I'm sick to death of being under a microscope and I'd bail.

Or tell them that you would like a copy of their disclosures as well so you can monitor their finances for the same reasons they gave.

What accounts? Where? If you don't tell they can't find them. Your wife is not an employee. That to me is not a lawful request.

Since the rule only applies to those in an executive level position, tell them to promote you and compensate you accordingly.

Just ignore it. Make them push the issue. In most cases if some exec has to actually do some work, they wont.

In my case, there's no "due by" date specified which makes me wonder if it's even a legitimate requirement now that I think about it.

Obviously you should do whatever you feel is correct for you, I'd say any investments I have are not a private companies business, if you are and executive level or working for the Government it may be required, and if it is a company sponsored investment like say a 401K etc. they should already have access to any info they are entitled to. Me I'd be looking elsewhere most likely if it was pushed upon me.

And that's what I think, too. My employer is downright lazy when it comes to application of rules. Just slap the same rules across the board regardless of whether they make sense, regardless of whether or not they actually apply, and go home early.

I'm gonna lawyer up. Got calls in to 2 firms and plan to retain the one that most resembles Saul Goodman.

"there's no "due by" date specified which makes me wonder if it's even a legitimate requirement"

The exec was just doing what he was required to do per who or what ever and probably doesn't care.

    Yep, "Better Call Saul." 🤣

Take pictures of your collander collection and say I have physical assets and this is it.

I would tell them that you live paycheck to paycheck and have no savings 😔

It sounds wrong in what they are asking... Sounds like Big Brother

(My phone was ready to fill in the blanks after I typed Big… the first choice was "Biden" then it was "Guy")
