Goodyear……Blimp
flew over us the whole game at Ohio State.
Back in 1976, it landed in our small little town in central IL during our bicentennial.
Different color format than what it is now.

Neat I have seen it a few times oveebthe years while it grew over head from Indy. I think
Sadly, I see the Walmart/ general public blimps wsy too often

You gotta remember to look at the gondola to keep perspective of how big it is. Good picture of it.

The hanger in Akron is so large it creates it's own weather. It sometimes rains in there.

A fellow pilot friend of mine who lived in the Seattle area flew this blimp and took me up in it one night. It had lights inside and was a huge airborne billboard. We flew all around Seattle, circled the Space Needle and returned to Seatac where it was moored. Something I will never forget. I logged 3-½ hours of lighter than air (LTA) time in my logbook.
