Prayers for good results. Having the same thing next month. Everyone says it is a great thing.

Sure need it, vision at a distance is ok but up close, fuzzy to say the least. Hard to read and type correctly.

There is always apprehension before a surgery. They have got cataract surgery down to where it is pretty much routine. I have known a lot a people that have had it done and never any problems. Making sure you use the eye drops is the most important phase of recovery.
Try not to worry, everything is going to go just fine. I will include you in my prayers.

    Prayers from Colorado.

Those eye drops are key to a quick and full recovery. You'll be seeing clearly in no time.

Good luck with the procedure and prayers.

I had laser surgery in January for Glaucoma and will be going back in October for decision on cataract surgery.

Then you'll be singing "I can see clearly now".

The procedure is awkward but not painful and you will be amazed at what the world looks like when it's over. Best of luck to you.

David, I had it done about 10 years ago and it was a piece of cake. The weird thing was is that you aren't completely out. I could still see and talk but didn't feel a thing and wasn't the least bit nervous. You will love the results.

Cataract surgery is easily the most successful medical procedure that has ever come down the pike. I have had it done on both eyes.

Had mine done 2 yrs ago. Was told I didn't need it yet. Switched over to a new doctor and was told I would not pass the eye test for drivers lic. renewal. She was right. Asked her for a referral and she sent me to a fine surgeon that took care of me and all I had to do is follow the eye drop protocol. I don't even need readers and I am 79. In fairness, I never had prescrption glasses until I was 72. Most aren't that blessed. The deputy that gave me the eye test for my licsense was completely gobsmacked when I passed without any glasses. I didn't tell him I got new lenses the few weeks before.

    you’ll like the results!!

Years ago I had my second eye done. I was pretty sedated when the doctor showed up and ask if I knew why I was there.. My drunken response; “a better question for you, Doc, is do you know why ‘you’ are here” I could hear everyone in the operating room, start giggling and laughing. 🤣
