Egads
I deeply appreciate my pooches doing their job. On the other hand the steady wafting of the odor of dead possum and armadillo is disturbing my al fresco dining experience.

Ask your pooches to leave their prizes out in the south forty.

They have doggy brains and do doggy things.😉

Well, I didn't think it could get worse. I was wrong. Temp tonight is supposed to be in the upper 50's. Already in the mid 60's. I threw open the windows to enjoy.
I have now closed them. The dogs have been skunked.

I have seen dogs roll in decompsing cattle carcasses. Hides that offensive hound odor I guess.

"EGADS", now there is an old expressive word I haven't heard since the days of Snidely Whiplash! 😅
Talking about dogs, we recently adopted a beagle to our pack of 2 K-9's. Beagle belongs to our granddaughter who is currently staying with us.
Doing my morning chore of picking up poo in the fenced back yard I have noticed that there hasn't been any poo since the beagle moved in. 😮

More stink on the dogs than the skunk. Small skunk body in the drive way this morning where they pile the DB's.

That's the downside of country life.

Last night Turnip was heading into the bushes after a skunk... Thank goodness she actually listened to me and backed out of the fight she was going to get in to 😳🦨

Our last dog, Hazel would gut possums in the driveway my dear wife would call me at work and say your dog made a mess. When Hazel was not being a predator she was our dog.

I love dining outdoors but not it there are odors

We enjoy many outdoor odors, fresh rain, flowers, lilacs. Thankfully the bad odors of skunk or dead animals are few and not often. We don't like those at all.

That's a good dog. Seen too many dumb useless ones.
