The FFL Dealer Network is designed to help buyers locate a FFL transfer dealer in their area who are willing to receive and transfer GunBroker.com purchases. By joining the GunBroker.com FFL Dealer Network, you are indicating that you are willing to handle firearms transfers for legal buyers in your state. You must be a registered user to become a FFL on our site. Please note that a FFL License Number may only be registered with one user.
Why is an FFL Required
A Federal Firearms License (FFL) is required to complete transactions involving firearms and other items specified by the ATF.

How to Edit your FFL Profile
How to Add your FFL license document
You can upload an image of your signed and dated FFL license. It is recommended that you mark the license “For Shipment Only. No Face to Face Transfers.”
When an image of your license is on file with GunBroker.com and a buyer selects you as their transfer FFL, we will automatically send an email to the seller with a link to that image to facilitate the transfer process.
- Click "View" for Account Information, as seen above
- Click "Edit" for FFL Information
- Click "Choose File" to select your license document from your computer
- Click "Save" to submit the form
Members of the GunBroker.com FFL Dealer Network have the option to add their license copy to their profile, so when selected, an email will be automatically sent to the seller with a link to view the license image to verify the license, complete the transaction, and ship the item.
Dealers are not required to add their license copy to their FFL Profile to be a member of the Dealer Network. It is per the dealer's / company's discretion to add their license copy to their FFL Profile.
Notes: The FFL license copy is self-managed by the individual dealer / company. Please make sure your license is current and up-to-date on your FFL Profile, at all times.
Recommendation for putting your FFL License Copy in the network:
- Add the text “For shipment only. No face to face transfers.” to the license copy.
- Make sure the Name, Signature, Position, and Date lines are filled out on the copy.
- Make sure your license is current and/or you have a LOA letter to accompany the license.
How to Remove your entire FFL Profile
- Click "View" for Account Information, as seen above
- Click "Remove" for FFL Information
Note: Clicking "Remove" will immediately remove the profile. This is not a two-step process.
