Browser Compatibility for Picture Uploaders

The following browsers can be used with the GunBroker.com Picture Uploaders.

Advanced Picture Uploader may freeze when using IE

Some Internet Explorer users may experience an issue where the browser freezes during the initial install of the Advanced Picture Uploader. This issue is caused by incompatible IE add-ons installed on the user's machine. When new IE add-ons are being installed (including Image Uploader ActiveX), IE iterates through all IE add-ons installed on the machine. If some of these add-ons have problems with Data Execution Prevention (DEP) compatibility, the Advanced Picture Uploader can become unresponsive.

To resolve the issue:

1. Install the Image Uploader ActiveX control via the standalone Advanced Image Uploader (Internet Explorer 32-bit version).  For the 64-bit version of Internet Explorer, you must install the 64-bit version of the Advanced Image Uploader x64.
2. Once you click the link from IE, click Run to install the software. The software Publisher is Aurigma, Inc., and is safe.
3. Follow the install steps and accept all of the defaults.
4. Once completed, you may need to restart your computer for the changes to take effect.

You should now be able to successfully upload pictures using the Advanced Picture Uploader.
